Mr. Schwarz! Here! Mr. Schwahaarz!

Mr. Schwarz! Here! Mr. Schwahaarz!

Ms. Beinert? What's up?

I wanted to congratulate you on your promotion!

Oh... I... thank you!

Although I had hoped you would keep me company down here a little longer.

I'm sorry, I...

Oh, that's all right, I'm getting the hang of it.

But now that you also have access to Department III, I wanted to ask you something.

Of course, gladly.

That's rather bad right now.

Don't worry, it's not a big deal either.

Please, Mr. Schwarz, it's not a big deal either!

All right, but I can't promise anything.

I'm looking for the file of a friend of mine.

Her name is Kerstin H. and her birthday is December 13.

But that's not exactly very clear information. Can't you tell me more? Hair color? Favorite animal? Anything?

It should be enough to find her file.

That's all you need to know. This is for your own protection.

My protection?

Who is this Kerstin H.?

Not of Kerstin, but of our colleagues.

Not if you're careful.

I should probably tell you that Kerstin is dead.

That is... very probably dead.

Kerstin was my sister-in-law and an enthusiastic artist.

So enthusiastic that one day she wrote a song that was too enthusiastic and, of course, went to jail for it.

You know how it goes. But that was also years ago ...

I am sorry to hear that...

It's her own fault.

You're right, Mr. Schwarz.

What are you talking about? Kerstin deserved what was coming for her!

But why should I look for Kerstin's file for you?

I want to be sure.

I haven't heard from her since her arrest, and it's quite possible that they executed her for what she did.

But as long as I don't know that for sure, I always have to fear that Kerstin's actions will come back to haunt me at some point.

Probably no one has been interested in the case for a long time now, but better safe than sorry.

Department III is responsible for security detentions, so I ask you to go there for me and get me the file.

Just take a look around or casually ask about it, I'm sure you know better than I do how to proceed in such situations.

Well, I'll see what I can do.

But I can't promise anything.

Thank you, Mr. Schwarz!

Unfortunately, I do not have the necessary security clearance for Department III.

Go ahead, what's it about?

I'm afraid I have to warn you right away that I'm very busy at the moment. Carrying files, raising flags, keeping the apartment building in good…

I'm afraid I have to warn you right away that I'm very busy at the moment. Carrying files, raising flags, keeping the apartment building in good shape and ...

My protection? I thought it was no big deal?

Why do I have to be so careful of this Kerstin H.?

I'm sorry, Ms. Beinert.

Then her sister-in-law probably deserved nothing else.
