Hello... I'm supposed to meet someone here.

Hello... I'm supposed to meet someone here.

I...

You've proven yourself useful with Bullhauser, Schwarz. Just as I hoped.

Just as you hoped? Did you send me to that house? Because of Walter?

You're smarter than you look, Schwarz.

Oh... thank you! You know, even back in school, my mother used to say, "Frank, you-"

You're babbling again. Müller warned me.

Oh, Müller. I - please excuse me.

Your friend Walter Bullhauser was the main reason why I sent you of all people to this house.

Poor Bullie! I wonder how he's doing now?

The man is an enemy of the state and a threat to our order.

He has been eliminated and can no longer harm us. That is the main thing.

I still can't believe it. Bullie was such a harmless guy.

The harmless ones are the worst. They strike when we least expect it.

Oh, is that so?

Our enemies are everywhere. Friends, family, colleagues - anyone could be an enemy of the system. Remember that!

I will.

And that's why we need you, Schwarz!

You need me? What for?

I need you to work for me. Find the enemies of order and report them to me.

Does this mean I'm officially working for the Ministry now?

Better, Schwarz!

But what could be better than working for the Ministry?

Working in the ministry. You are getting a job here.

Clerk! This is my dream job! Where is my office? When do I start?

Your office is on the first floor.

I'll have to tell my wife! I'm finally out of this stupid janitorial job!

Not so fast! You'll have to keep your job as caretaker as a cover.

What? But then I have two jobs at the same time? How is that supposed to work?

Nobody said life was easy, Schwarz!

It's all right, I can do it. No problem!

Report to the doorman. He'll show you in. And Schwarz...

Yes?

Is your situation clear to you?

My... Situation?

You work for me, Schwarz. I have your signature on a confession. Never forget that.

I, uh... understand.

You'll be hearing from us, Schwarz.

Not as an agent, though - officially, you're just a clerk.

Did you see anyone here who looked like they were waiting?

Schwarz. You are too late.

Oh, uh, oh! I'm supposed to meet you here?

Surprised?

Uh, yes. I was counting on someone who was... higher.

I didn't work my way through an army of dickheads to get fucked over by you now, Schwarz.

Don't blather.

If you're useful to us, you may soon move up to one of the upper floors.

Now go up to the doorman and then to your office.
